This is a non-historical piece that I did that I am rather proud of… I like how the green glass leaves look next to the amber-colored glass beads. This was one of the first pieces that I did where I did not string the beads on linen thread but instead worked the beads onto sterling silver findings.
The necklace consists of green leaf beads, plain green beads, and plain amber-colored beads. The findings are all sterling silver to include the chain. I worked the beads into sets of three on sterling silver eye pins then wrapped loops into the second end. I linked the sets together as I wrapped the loops. I then made my own jump rings to link the beads to the sterling liver chain.
I made a pair of matching earrings to go with the necklace. I am very pleased with the overall piece.
